Complete sustainable washroom solution

We have a smart, sustainable, and efficient range that improves hygiene and saves time. With products such as Tork Clarity Hand Washing Foam SoapTork Coreless Mid-size Natural Toilet Roll and the Tork SmartOne Toilet Paper dispenser, Tork can help make your washroom a sustainable one.

Tork Natural colour washroom products

A new range of hand towel and toilet paper refills makes it easy to show your company´s commitment to sustainability in your washrooms.

Tissue is made of 100% recycled fibres with between 30% and 50% of the tissue coming from recycled cardboard boxes. The light brown tissue colour comes from the recycled materials so there are no dyes added in the paper making.

Plus, all Tork Natural colour hand towels can also be used with Tork PaperCircle® recycling service.

83% of office workers and restaurant visitors agree that offering paper towels in a natural colour made from 100% recycled materials is a good way to show their environmental commitment.

Improved hygiene with effective, and sustainable soap formulations

Tork soap solutions are proven and formulated to help customers meet their hygiene expectations, whilst reducing the impact on the environment.

Tork Clarity Hand Washing Foam soap is made with 99% of ingredients from natural origin1 which gives it a lower impact on aquatic life2. The formula is readily biodegradable and there is also 35% lower water consumption.

In fact, 9 out of 10 Tork soaps sold contain 94% ingredients from natural origin.

Maximise hygiene, minimise carbon impact

Tork carbon-neutral dispensers

As of May 2023, we offer 27 existing Tork dispensers in Europe (excluding France) with carbon-neutral certification. The carbon emissions for these dispensers are reduced and compensated across the entire life cycle – from raw materials to end of life. Learn more here

Meaningful carbon compensation

For the compensation, Tork works with ClimatePartner, a member of the International Carbon & Offset Alliance. Carbon emissions are compensated with certified and regularly monitored projects. From supplying clean drinking water in Cambodia to protecting forests in Indonesia. And investing in energy-saving cookstoves in India combined with recovering plastic along beaches.

Tork sustainability focus areas

Tork is committed to developing innovative and sustainable hygiene solutions that are better for business, people, and the planet.

  • Materials & Packaging – Creating responsible sourcing and increased use of renewable, recycled, and natural content.
  • Use & Waste will decrease waste through reduced consumption and circular solutions.
  • Carbon will be lowered to limit the impact throughout the total life cycle of Tork products and services.
  • Hygiene for all – We are dedicated to raising hygiene standards for the majority of users.

A 360 approach to the environment

We look at the entire life cycle of a product and service from responsible sourcing to end-of-life.

  • Life cycle assessment (LCA) is used to calculate the environmental footprint of products, processes, or services throughout the entire life cycle
  • Essity has been working with LCA since early 1990s
  • We use this life cycle approach to improve every aspect of our product performance
  • The life cycle approach helps to identify and select the best solutions for customers
  • It also helps to evaluate claims and prevent greenwashing
  • Production > Product in Use > Waste & Use > Materials & Packaging
