As part of our 25th birthday celebrations, we’re delighted to announce our charity partner for 2021 is Reuben’s Retreat.
Reuben’s Retreat is a charity that was born in memory of Reuben Michael Graham who tragically passed away in August 2012, aged just 23 months. Reuben’s Retreat is a home-from-home for families bereaved of a child and for children with life limiting or threatening conditions and their parents and siblings. The Retreat enables families to make special memories in a safe, compassionate, and loving environment.
Reubens Retreat – Mission, Vision and Legacy
MISSION – To relieve the distress of families who have suffered the bereavement of a child or have a child suffering from a life limiting/threatening illness.
VISION – Walking side-by-side, offering emotional and practical support to families bereaved of a child or those that have a life limited/threatened child and may face an uncertain future. Enabling them to create memories cocooned in the sanctuary of Reuben’s Retreat underpinned by our army of love and compassionate hearts.
REUBEN’S LEGACY – ‘a place to Relax, Recharge, Remember, Rebuild, built on an army of love and compassion.’
The Staples.co.uk team will be supporting the charity with its fundraising efforts by taking part in events and sponsored activities, donating office supplies to support the charity with its day-to-day running, and helping raise awareness of the vital support they offer to children and families across the UK.
